Let us develop respect for all living things. Let us try to replace violence and intolerance with understanding and compassion. And love. - Dr. Jane Goodall.
10 things you might not have know about frogs:
  1. Frogs don’t drink water to stay hydrated. They absorb it through their skin.
  2. When a frog catches its prey, it blinks and its eyes push their food down into their throat. This allows them to swallow their prey whole.
  3. A group of frogs is called an army.
  4. The Goliath frog is the largest type of frog, and can be the size of a newborn baby (... loading tonight’s nightmare)
  5. In a single leap, some frogs can jump up to 20x their own body length
  6. Frogs only have teeth on their upper jaw
  7. In captivity, some can live as long as 2 decades
  8. The Australian water-holding frog can wait 7 years for rain
  9. For every year a frog hibernates, a new layer of bones form (kind of like rings on a tree - you’re able to count them)
  10. To tell a male and female frog apart, just look at their ears
